Voice Authentication
Voice has emerged as a viable authentication method, because just like a fingerprint or iris, voice is unique to the individual. What sets voice apart as a preferred authentication method for online transactions is its ability to partner with the telephone to deliver extremely accurate remote authentication. No additional hardware or software needs to be deployed to end users in order to start authenticating remote transactions.
Voice authentication also possesses the added ability to deliver or confirm information during the authentication process. While a user authenticating via fingerprint produces a positive or negative result upon placing his finger on the scanner, a user speaking his the authentication can also confirm transaction details or verbally agree to or "sign" an electronic transaction while completing the authentication process.
