Authentify™ Appoints Toleikis and Stroberg to Executive Management Team

Emerging Provider of Internet Authentication Technology Expands Management Organization

CHICAGO - December 6, 1999 - Authentify, Inc., an emerging provider of software and services that confirm the identity of Web users, today announced the appointments of Judith Toleikis as vice president of product services, and Donald Stroberg as vice president of marketing and business development. Toleikis brings extensive software industry experience to this key role on Authentify's executive management team. Stroberg brings over ten years of technology marketing and commercialization experience to Authentify. Both have proven track records for helping build successful start-up technology companies.

Toleikis joins Authentify from TriMark Technologies (acquired by PeopleSoft, Inc. in May 1999) a provider of insurance application software, where she served as manager of product support. Prior to joining TriMark, she was director of implementation services for NetDox, a service company providing secure authenticated messaging over the Internet. She was previously customer support manager at Intersolv, and has held various project management positions within the IT groups of Fortune 500 companies. She holds a MA in English literature from the University of Minnesota.

Stroberg joins Authentify from Deloitte Consulting, where he was a senior manager focusing on customer relationship management and business development. His clients included Ameritech, Convergys, and Starwood Hotels and Resorts. At Deloitte Consulting he developed and implemented new marketing programs and introduced new products and services for his clients. Stroberg has extensive experience in launching new businesses, including start-ups like Blue Meteor, InVeNet, and NetDox. Prior to joining Deloitte Consulting, he developed and commercialized defense technologies for McDonnell Douglas. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BS in aeronautical and astronautical engineering from the University of Illinois.
