Authentify to Present at NACHA Council Meeting
Chicago, IL – August 27, 2009– Authentify will present its out-of-band authentication solution for managing risks for ACH payments at the upcoming NACHA Mega Council Meeting to be held September 22-24, 2009 in Baltimore, Maryland. Showcasing its widely adopted service used to stop the most sophisticated online fraud exploits, Authentify will be addressing threats to ACH payments, such as the rapid emergence of malware and man-in-the-browser attacks.
Authentify’s Out-of-Band Authentication (OOBA) allows users to confirm the validity of a payment via an automated phone call. Authentication using a network other than the network processing the transaction prevents would be fraudsters from conducting account take over attacks and performing online transactions without the rightful account owner’s knowledge. Authentify currently provides OOBA services for many of the largest enterprises conducting online business transactions.
