Authentify® Named Finalist for Three SC Magazine Awards

CHICAGO , Illinois —November 29, 2005 — Authentify, Inc., the leader in telephone-based identity management solutions, announced today that three Authentify service products were selected as SC Awards 2006 finalists. Authentify – 2F was named as a finalist in the Best Two-Factor category, Authentify – VB was named as a finalist in the Best Biometric Device category, and Authentify was named as a finalist for the Best Authentication category.

Readers of SC Magazine voted online for the best products in several categories, recognizing the most innovative contributions made to the information security industry during the past year. Authentify’s telephonic authentication methods continue to thwart the most sophisticated online security threats by linking the online transaction to the real person behind the transaction. Category winners will be chosen from among the finalists during the SC Awards ceremony on February 14, 2006 in San Jose, CA.

“Authentify is pleased to be recognized as an SC awards finalist,” said Peter Tapling, Authentify, Inc. President and CEO. “This honor highlights Authentify’s effectiveness in stopping the kinds of fraud we’ve seen more predominantly in the last year, such as a phisher or pharmer armed with a user’s correct identity information.”
