Mr. Winfield is the only athlete in history to be drafted by 4 teams in 3 different professional sports. Winfield Foundation, which provided healthcare services, academic scholarships and community outreach programs throughout North America. Currently a Vice President/Senior Advisor with the San Diego Padres, Mr. Winfield has served on numerous boards including Hackensack Medical Center, Morehouse School of Medicine and the Major League Baseball Players Trust. Mr. Winfield attended the University of Minnesota, and has received honorary degrees from Syracuse University and Thomas Jefferson School of Law.
“Building a young business is, by nature, a team oriented pursuit,” said Peter Tapling, President and CEO of Authentify. “Dave Winfield’s experience with teams, with businesses – and most importantly with people – is a powerful catalyst. Dave has been an invaluable business advisor and is certainly a motivating figure to have involved in the company.”
