Andrew Rolfe Selected to Speak at InfoSecurity Show in New York

Andrew Rolfe, Vice President of Development for Authentify, has been selected to speak on "Options in Authentication" at the Infosecurity show in New York City.

CHICAGO, IL - December 9, 2002 - Andrew Rolfe will be speaking at the InfoSecurity show in New York City on December 11, 2002 discussing the options in authentication. One option that is over looked many times is voice authentication and biometrics. Passwords may be convenient, but they just are not secure methods of authentication. This presentation will discuss cost effective solutions to the problem of secure access including voice authentication and biometrics.

“Many times organizations fail to implement a strong authentication solution to their online access control,” said Andrew Rolfe, Vice President of Development of Authentify. “Organizations are more concerned with the convenience of using passwords and fail to look at the repercussions of unauthorized access.”

Authentify is the only interactive, out-of-band authentication mechanism to make undeniable contact with an online user and apply a biometric with no devices or software required on the users computer. Authentify synchronizes an outbound telephone call with an online session to verify the user is who they say they are. By using voice authentication and biometrics, Authentify has an advantage over many forms of authentication.

The presentation, Options in Authentication, will be on December 11, 2002 at the InfoSec Conference in New York City. For more information on the conference you can visit their website at http://www.infosecurityevent.com.
