Verification Technology Allows Real-Time, Two-Factor Authentication During Registration Process

CHICAGO, Ill - October 29, 2001 - Authentify, Inc.™, a leading provider of Internet identity solutions, and SingleSignOn.Net, a provider of innovative authentication related solutions, today announced that Authentify|Register™ has been integrated into SingleSignOn.Net’s Secure Identity Appliance™.

Unique to the e-security marketplace, SingleSignOn.Net’s digital certificate appliance can be used as a password/pin system, as well as a full-fledged PKI system based on their exclusive Practical PKI™ technology. The solution provides the security of PKI with the convenience and ease of use of passwords.

Authentify|Register has been implemented as part of a web-based registration process for first-time issuance of a SingleSignOn.Net digital certificate. Authentify|Register is combined with data on the user in this new registration process to enable a trusted, real-time authentication of the online user.
