Authentify™ Names John Zurawski Vice President of Marketing and Sales

Seasoned Industry Veteran to Accelerate Adoption of Authentify Authentication Offerings

CHICAGO, IL-July 10, 2001-Authentify, Inc.™, a leading provider of Internet identity solutions, today named John Zurawski as Vice President of Marketing and Sales. Zurawski brings twenty years of sales and marketing experience to Authentify, including more than fifteen years in the high technology and Internet industries.

"John has a proven track record of building successful sales and marketing programs within a rapidly growing technology company," said Peter Tapling, president and CEO of Authentify. "His extensive background in strategic planning and business development will be invaluable as we continue to aggressively build the Authentify business."

Prior to joining Authentify, Zurawski worked as Chief Operating Officer at ditto.com, a visual search engine site. While at ditto.com, he grew the company from eight to 50 employees and was responsible for executing an $18 million private placement, managing the company ESOP and negotiating strategic alliances with key industry players such as NBCi and Inkomi.

Prior to ditto.com, Zurawski was Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Dynasty Technologies, where he developed major account references within six months of the company's product launch. Zurawski also served as National Accounts Manager for SPSS, Inc., provider of statistical and analytical software. As the top sales manager at SPSS, he played a major role in facilitating growth as the company completed its initial public offering.
