Authentify™ Appoints Andrew Rolfe Vice President of Development

Emerging Provider of Internet Authentication Technology Expands Executive Management Team

CHICAGO - May 30, 2000 - Authentify, Inc., an emerging provider of e-commerce security (e-security) software and services that confirm the identity of Web users, today announced the appointment of Andrew Rolfe as Vice President of Development. Mr. Rolfe brings more than 20 years of software engineering, technical management and security experience to his role on Authentify's executive management team.

Prior to joining Authentify, Mr. Rolfe was a Senior Vice President at Bank of America, where he was responsible for designing and managing the architecture and development of Internet financial products for the bank's largest commercial customers.

"Andy brings an outstanding track record of achievement in software development, and a great understanding of the e-security landscape to this strategic role at Authentify. We couldn't be more excited that he will be a part of our team," said Peter Tapling, President and CEO of Authentify. Prior to his position at Bank of America, Mr. Rolfe was employee number two at NetDox, Inc., a secure Internet document delivery service provider where he served as Vice President of Development, Senior Architect and Senior Designer. Mr. Rolfe has also held key technical and managerial positions at AT&T Bell Laboratories, and Odesta Systems Corporation, as well as having been an independent software consultant to the City of Chicago.
